This website is a tribute to the U.S. recording artist Jimmy Ellis and looks at the various aspects of his career and his many record releases. Besides many of his releases being made available worldwide and recording for numerous small record labels, Jimmy also recorded under several names, the most famous being masked singer Orion, but recordings were issued under several other identities - Ellis James; Ellis; Steven Silver and The Shadowman. Due to the confusion surrounding his many aliases his releases can be difficult to track down.
If you have further details on any releases not included or would like to trade Orion recordings or material please drop me an email. Scans of sleeves and labels would be of real interest as would track listings of further foreign releases. If you can add to the info given please e-mail me.
