On 12/10 The Sunday Times reported the scores from the Pennsylvania State School Assessment tests. Of the 13 public schools in Lackawanna County, Lakeland?s scores were the second lowest.{The lowest being the Charter School in Eynon for troubled teens}Grants were distributed based on the test scores . The total grants given for Lackawanna County were $440,360-of which Lakeland earned nothing. Our board apparently things that by uniforming our children, their tests scores will magically go up.

If you agree with the cartoon in the 12/17 Times Cartoon on C3-the one with the pig in a Lakeland Uniform and the proverb "You can put a dress on a pig but it's still a pig" then you might wish to visit our Contact Page for the addresses of your political state representatives.
