Force For The Preservation Of The Wilfrid Bog maintain the EP status
of this rare habitat, so as to protect this little piece of Ontario's
natural heritage.

Environment Canada on the issue. Explain how you would like to see
the Wilfrid Bog and other important habitats protected across Canada.
Elaborate how important it is to you that Canada's government
guarantee's that rare and unusual habitats are protected at a Federal
and Provincial level. It is unacceptable to leave the
responsibilities of these important issues to our Regional and
Municipal Governments.

Durham Region
All persons of Durham Region should write the Durham
Region Clerk, to voice their concerns on the matter. The Regional
Clerk will address the letter during a Regional Council meeting where
policies and directives are set in place. Durham Region is in charge
of enforcing the Regional bylaws within Brock Township as the Brock
Township council in 1992 resolved not to enforce Regional bylaws,
therefore leaving this responsibility as a Regional matter. Bylaws
pertaining to this issue involves policies on peat removal and tree cutting.
