St. Louis will be their future home where Mr. Braun is engaged in business."</div> <bR> <div> Elsie Offermann reported that Kate Offermann left home when she was still quite young, which may explain why she was living in Pinckneyville at the time of her marriage. Based on the information in the Civil War Pension records, it is possible that Kate may have lived in Pinckneyville with her uncle, Peter Offermann.
