The sound of rustling bushes and the soft "pad-pad" of feet behind you makes you stop, and you turn toward the noise involuntarily. Bright blue eyes shine through the darkness, and as the cloud that had covered the moon moves on and reveals the pearly orb once more, you see that a wolf stands before you, large and majestic, her fur so light that she seems a mere aparation... A spirit.

"Hello, human..." You hear the telepathic voice again, filling your mind, loud and clear as if the words were actually being spoken aloud. "It is not often that your kind visits us. Your kind is a strange breed. They seem to fear us, but that is only because they do not understand us." The wolf "spoke", sitting down. "But you needn't fear me. I won't bite!" Her eyes seem to sparkle in amusement and you even think you see a hint of a wolven smile on her face.

"My name is Nova and if you like, I shall guide you throughout the territory and teach you about the various Spirits of the Earth that reside here. Now, tell me where you would like to go and I shall gladly take you..."

She waits patiently for your decision, sitting there before you. The first rays of morning begin to rise over the distant mountains behind Nova, the golden rays framing her brilliant silver coat, reflecting in her luminous eyes.
