Trees and plants whiz by in a blur of color as you run through the woods, so intent on escape that you hardly notice that the woods become more and more ominous as you go. The trees grow thicker, blocking out most of the waning moonlight. Before you know it, you are bathed in darkness so thick you can hardly see two feet in front of you. A realization dawns on you. You have no idea where you are, not that you ever really did...

A rumble in the surrounding woods puts you instantly on edge and you turn toward the sound instinctively, only to see the most terrifying sight you could ever imagine. A wolf now stands before you, dripping fangs bared and shimmering in the light reflected from it's glowing eyes.

"Hello there, human," The wolf snarls, stepping toward you threatiningly. "Didn't anyone ever tell you it's rude to barge in on someone else's territory and then try to leave? That's right. The name's Juggernaut and the path you traveled down leads straight into my domain..." He starts toward you, snarling, and you know that you could never out run such a beast. Still, you have no choice but to try. You turn, ready to sprint, but a loud growl that doesn't belong to the wolf before you stops you dead in your tracks. You look.

Another wolf has appeared, leaping from the bushes and landing heavily on the evil one. She looks toward you, and you can tell by her eyes that she is the one who was watching you earlier. As she holds off the other wolf, she calls to you, her voice telepathic. "Go, human, down that path and quick! Or stop by at the Meeting Place. Creatures of Light and Dark bonds can meet at the Meeting Place, which is an area that is safe for both loyalities. Go quick, now!"
