Name Meaning
Sachi is Japanese, meaning "girl child of bliss".
Physical Description
Sachi is the average height of a human girl(about 5'6) with short, silver hair and matching silver eyes. Her hair is somewhat layered with a wild, untamed look, much like her personality. Her bangs reach down to about her jaw line when they are not held back by a red bandana, and the rest of her hair is tied back in a loose ponytail that reaches down to her shoulder blades. Usually, she is seen wearing black leather pants and a white tank top with white gloves and boots. She is rarely seen without gloves, for she wears them to hide her hands which are oddly clawed. Another strange thing about her appearance, aside from having clawed hands and silver hair and eyes is the fact that she also possesses a silver, lion-like tail.
Personality
Sachi is fun loving, carefree, and a serious risk taker. She doesn't really take life all that seriously, though she does her best to live it to the fullest.
Sachi is known for being smooth talking, sly, and sneaky, for she makes a living as a thief. Her reasons for becomming a thief may be one of two things--Or both. For one, she is truly a Gryphon, and Gryphons are known for loving treasure and shiny things. Or, of course, it could be because she is a peasant, and to steal is an easy yet risky way to stay alive. However, though living a dishonest lifestyle, Sachi is well known and loved by many, as a girl of mystery and excitement.

Status and Family
As of now, Sachi is single and seventeen years of age. She has no siblings, and her mother, Natara (which, by the way, means "Sacrifice"), was a White Gryphon while her father, Tuari (Which means "Young Eagle") was a Black Gryphon. More about the significance of such is explained in the background section.
Background
Sachi comes from a distant realm that is ruled primarily by mystical creatures that are rare on Earth but abundant there. In her home realm, humans are a foreign creature that simply do not exist there. So, how did she come to Earth and what exactly is she?
Sachi is a Silver Gryphon, which is a Gryphon born between a Black and White Gryphon. The Black and White Gryphons are sworn enemies, though neither are good or evil. No one knows exactly why the two became foes, but it is mostly assumed that it was over something quite pointless.
Silver Gryphons are very rare. It is said that only one Silver Gryphon is born a century, if that, and very few of those born live. That is because it is forbidden for either clan to come into contact with one another unless it is on the battle field, and to do otherwise is punishable by death. But Sachi's parents defied their clans, and thus Sachi was born.
However, there there is a much larger reason than simple hate as to why clans may not breed with one another. That is because both clans are leery of producing a Silver Gryphon. It is said in Gryphon lore that a Silver Gryphon that is born and lives is destined to rule over both clans, and that the Silver Gryphon is more powerful than both clans as well. That is because a Silver Gryphon, being a combination of a White and Black Gryphon, receives powers from both sides. In Gryphon lore, the Silver Gryphon is also often referred to as the "Gryphon's Heir", meaning that it is destined to rule over all.
Sachi's parents knew of this, but they loved Sachi and were determined to keep her safe. If it was discovered that she existed, she would instantly be killed, and her parents would as well. When the other Gryphons began to grow suspicious, Sachi's mother, Natara, sent Sachi to where she knew she would be safe: Earth. She knew that there were Gryphons on Earth, but since those Gryphons had traveled from their realm so long ago, she knew that the old legends would more than likely be forgotten. But, just in case, she gave Sachi the form of a human but the ability to transform to her true form at will, and sent her to Earth to dwell in peace until the day she was old enough to return...
