terms. A Lord rules an entire layer of the Abyss, while a Prince only controls
a citadel on the Plain of Infinite Portals (1). In 1st edition, Princes
were more powerful than Lords. To further confuse matters, some Abyssal
Lords have Princely titles. For example, Fraz-Urb'luu is called the "Prince
of Deception", but he is an Abyssal Lord and controls an entire layer.
