Letter to Santa Barbara County Probation Department.

This letter received a response! Not quite rational considering my request. I mentioned that fact at the following supervisors board meeting and was later told by the Director of the Mental Health Department that the Director of the State of California Probation Department was in the area acting with regard to the issue of "experimental treatments. I have heard nothing since.

RE; Treatment for sex offenders, violent antisocial behavior and drug addiction.

Dear Sue Gionfrido,

Attached is a letter from the Director of Santa Barbara County Mental Health Department confirming my meeting with the Director and the Chief Medical Doctor of the Mental Health Department to present a valid treatment of the subconscious mind. It should be clear from the conspicuous lack of causes derived from the justified forensic psychological investigation of recent, extreme school violence a patterns, that, generally, techniques currently in use by psychology and the Mental health department are inadequate to treat or understand these deadly, destructive behaviors. In light of my letter to your Department of 12/11/97, outlining the potential for extreme, insane, behaviors in our future, an understanding of the subconscious mind is now needed to protect the lives of women and children. Aggression, sexuality and the motives needed to sustain recovery are all of the subconscious mind. With access and understanding of it, socially normal patterns of subconscious existence can be established to override the compulsive, driving force behind the undesirable behavior reducing the need for conscious vigilance on the part of the individual against the illegal and destructive acts.

After substantial inquiry I have determined that the Probation Department is the county department concerned with rehabilitative therapy of sex offenders, perpetrators of violent crime and drug addiction. The recent molestation of my Daughter, (Case No. M992970) by a repeat offender and the absence appropriate psychological treatments, makes very personal the need for effective treatment. The perpetrator, has given permission to receive experimental treatment utilizing hypnosis and nitrous oxide, guided by myself, for his disorder. Rationally, incarceration interferes with normal male sexual orientation and the possibility for resentment of the victim leading to retribution fixations of the subconscious can put victims in danger after the offenders release. Long term protection for my daughter and the public can be achieved with appropriate treatment.

Nitrous oxide is safe and is used on children for dental treatments. I request that your office produce a letter, attaching this letter, to the State Department of Mental Health, supporting and requesting permission to the County Mental Health Department to engage in limited treatments utilizing hypnosis and nitrous oxide with results monitored by therapists currently in use by the Probation Department. Lives will be saved, protected and recovered.

Thank you, Sincerely,

Christopher A. Brown
