Rene's (Nicodemus) Collection of Free RPG's Off the Web

I'm very selective of my games, so my list is nowhere near as large as others'. But I'll try and continue to add more. If you have any suggestions, e-mail me:

Assassins -doc- by: Hector Rene' Segovia - This is a Live-Action RPG that is played 24/7. No players involved know of eachother's participation. Suddenly, at the mall, or at the gaming store, you get hit by a NERF dart and some guy (or girl) you probably never even met before says to you, "Give me your character sheet. You've been assassinated."

Buggz -doc- or -HTML- by: Hector Rene' Segovia - You have to read it to enjoy it. It's a big world out there! For those who already have this game, I have added new bugs and a couple of scenarios. Instead of d-loading the entire rulebook again (Yes, they're in the new one) d-load the supplement. There are some rules corrections in the new book though.

Supplement: Beetle, Rhino Beetle, Butterfly, Moth, Dragonfly, Stick Bug, Gnat, Mayfly, Cockroach, Junebug, Water Strider

Scenarios: 1) The Long, Hard Winter / 2) Lost

Errata & Supplemental Information: This important supplement is in the HTML version but is NOT included in the Word formatted one. So PLEASE download it here. It includes the long awaited, but simple, scenario, "The Great Tree", and an all new one called "Dream Big Dreams". In addition, I have included MetalMan's review of Buggz from RPG.net.

deadEarth (Player's Guide) (Game Master's Handbook)-pdf- Post epocalyptic, radioactive game of fighting and survival. Very well written.

Dementia -doc- you have to read it to believe it.

DragonWizards -HTML- A detailed RPG which includes downloadable/printable graphic cards that effect the game. Very well written and thought-out.

Evolution: Gods at Play  (Character Sheet) -doc- by: Hector Rene' Segovia - You are gods at a great gaming table, testing each species you create. The GM god has created a world called Omniolithica, and with limited points, you choose which mutations you wish your species to have.

From Chaos Comes Order. -doc- by: Hector Rene' Segovia - It wasn't a nuclear holocaust. It wasn't a plague. It wasn't even the New World Order. It was a computer virus. 4 years after the turn of the millennium, five High School teenagers with nothing better to do, conjugated one weekend to write a computer virus. All they wanted was to make a name for themselves. Instead, the accidentally spread their electronic disease all over the world causing the collapse of every major system on the planet.

FUDGE -pdf- Freeform, Universal, Do-it-yourself, Game Engine - Amazingly simple and very creative in its useage. This system can be used to create any game imagineable.

Fuzion -pdf- Another universal system. This one is very in-depth. Created by R. Talsorian Games (Cyberpunk, Mekton Z)

Heavy Ordnance -doc- A humorouse game about elementary kids with big guns vs. demonic school administration. A nuclear explosion in the school meatloaf has sent the school into Hell. Luckilly, the school is located near the National Guard Armory.

HFS -doc- Live Action fantasy RPG. While the SCA is medieval reinactment, the High Fantasy Society is more fantasy-based, including a magic and monster system.

MEXICO 1970 & MEXICO 1970 Horror-doc- Character Sheet -doc- by: Hector Rene' Segovia - It's the 1970's, but bellbottoms, liesure suits, and discos are the last things on your mind when the Mexican Mafia is on your tail in the middle of the Mexican Desert.

Mexico 1970 Errata and Supplemental Information: Includes important information not included in the rule book.

Pocket Dragons -doc- You are tiny dragons (about the size of a 20oz Coke Bottle) just trying to survive. This, however, just screams "Mischevious Scenarios" and "Female Players".

The Prisoner (Character Sheet) -doc- by: Hector Rene' Segovia - An RPG based on the cult television series! The Prisoner is a psychosurreal RPG that takes away your identity, leaving you only with a number and the means to live.

Slayer -doc- Balls-to-the-wall game of big guns vs. big beasties. Based on the Anime genre.

Superheroes & Heroines -pdf- This was downloaded for a friend of mine who's really into superheroes. Though I really don't like superhero games, I figured, "What the hell?" and threw it in here.

Thrash -rtf- Great game of martial arts fighting. This flexible game can incorperate any fighting video game you can imagine. With many references to Samurai Showdown, Street Fighter II, Final Fight, and others. Also Anime-based.
