Neve said what?

-Neve on her growing career-
"Things have happened quikley for me...and they can stop as quikley as they started. But right now...I feel wonderful."

-Neve on Tourette Syndrome-
"Tourette Syndrome means alot to me because my younger brother suffers from it. There's a great lack of awarness about what T.S. is. People don't realize that despite having this condition, it's not necessarly debililating. T.S. suffers can and do lead very successful lives. It is a very complex condition, but people cope with it amazingly well. Educating the public about T.S. is very important to me."

-Neve on nudity-
"I think every woman has thought about stripping. I've thougth about it. I wouldn't do it, not in public any way. What about that is interesting? I think for a woman the challenge is to... is almost in a sense how many can you attract. You find out where your sexual power is in that sense."

-Neve on her education-
"I was not a straight A student. Academically, I guess I am not as smart as Julia (Salenger)."

-Why she dropped out of school-
"All of a sudden I'm 15, and the member of the fantastic dance company. So it didn't make alot of sense to say, Oh, I'm not going to take Phantom of the Opera because I need yo learn more about history."

-Neve in interview, Jan. 1997-
"lighting candels and believing you can create white light around you wards off evil... I don't believe in set spells or any set religion, but I believe we all have energy we can focus on."

-NY Daily News-
"When I look back at it now, I am so glad that the one thing I had in my life was my belief that everything in life is a learning experience whether it be postive or negative. If you can see it as a learning experience you can turn any negative into a positive."

-"I look back 5 years ago when I thought I was an adult and knew everything about the world, and realize I knew nothing."

-"I think my greatest insecurity would just be standing in the middle of the room having everybody watching me. I think thats what I want. If I am interesting to you because of who I am, then thats incredible. But if I am interesting to you because of what I am, then lets not bother, you know?"

-"I think teenagers in the states grow up to fast. In Canada, kids are exposed to different things. Like school is very different, it's not nearly as social. Canadian teenagers see it as a much more series place."

-"Thats absolutely how I am. Like race, black or white- I see absolutly no difference. Because for me its just such a reality. You are human, I am human, lets try to except one another for whatever we are. It was actually kind of weird for me to flip out about it. I felt like slapping Julia and saying RELAX! Actually one of my girlfriends came out after she and I had been friends for a couple years. And it was really funny because she was so nervous about telling me. And when she did I was like, OK, you got a beer? It doesn't change who you are and what you mean to me."

-On role in Wild Things-
" I play an ex-convict, a drug addicted bisexaul. That was the challenge, and thats why I took the role. Because I wanted to be seen in a different light."

-"Someone once told me I had a type A personality (laughs), but this is the way I've always been. I love working. I love acting, performing, entertaning people, and I've been doing it since I started dancing with the National Ballet School when I was 9. I can't imagine not doing this in some way. Plus the roles are coming, so why not take them as they come?"
