Not the best bargain in town but for a good meal, it hits the spot.
Hint: Try the Blonde Ale and start off with a pretzel .
This is a downtown Bar that seems to to have kept its fun despite its touristy location. Good Beer Selection and close to alot of the events and locations that would keep you downtown after work.
Southport and Irving. This bar gets its pretentious nature by lack of having one. You can hang out, enjoy a great beer and not care if anyone is impressed by your taste or not. One of the more friendly bars.
I'm not a huge fan of the Wrigleyville Bar(I HATE IT), But the Diversey Bar ROCKS. (If the bar doesn't trust patrons with Pitchers, they can go to hell). The reason this bar is up here is it has some of the best bar food in Chicago. Try the ChickenTang pizza with tomato sauce. Broccoli Chedder Bites and kick ass wings
