Ask Me - This poem reads like a song. When I read it I hear music... like something a gypsy bard would sing around a campfire.

I Knew - Usually Alexandra is sing-song and likes to match rhythm and rhyme endings, so this poem is not typical of her usual style. It's about meeting her soulmate.

Faerie's Tale - I LOVE THIS ONE!!! Poems that tell stories are her hallmark and this one is great. It tells the story of an abused girl who is discovered and taken away by the fair folk.

In Light of Shayde - I have to admit I don't really understand this one but it is lovely none-the-less. I get the feeling Shayde is a person and that the poem was written for them.

Note in a Bottle - This one is sad. It is about the end of a chapter in life where she tells someone that it is time to go on.

Precious Jewels - I found this one buried on her web page. I don't know why she didn't put it with her other writings. It's beautifully written. Again, it doesn't rhyme (so is unusual for her) but it flows and is beautiful. Another one about her soulmate? (sigh) Ah... to love like that!

Promise the Moon - I gleaned this from Delphi back in 1992. It's another storytelling poem about a woman who tests the love of her suitor. It has a vaguely oriental feeling to it and won first place in Delphi's Writers SIG Romance Story Contest.

Reflections - An amazing poem. Everytime I read it I see something else in it.

The Lady - The rediscovery of deity as a woman. I liked this even though it was a bit campy. Not really as deep as her usual stuff.
