Hi all! First of all I would like to thank you for visiting this site. I happen to be a part of this fantastic community and am proud about it every moment I think of it. I feel we people have always had a seperate identity in the Indian culture, Tamil Nadu culture & also a few of the South East Asian Countries. This has always driven me beyond boundries. I would call this as the driving force behind me coming up with such a site for 'Our' community. You'll find a lot of information in the other links. Let me introduce myself first.

I am Muthiah a.k.a Muthu, son of M.Sivalingam Chettiar, Chennai & Grandson of Late Singaram Chettiar, Nerkuppai. I'm 28 and have completed my MBA, MCA & B.Com. I di my MBA from Symbiosis Distance Learning, M.C.A from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and my B.Com from St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Trichy. I got wedded to Gomathi in April 2001 and have a daughter, Shreya Deivanai, born Feb 2004. I've always had a passion for doing web sites & this one is no exception. In contrast to the site name, "Nerkuppai Nagarathar Sangam, Chennai", I have given a great great deal of importance to the Nagarathar community in general than just talking about my hometown. I have also included the little Information I could gather about Nerkuppai. I would be grateful to each and everyone who could send me any information pertaining to Nerkuppai or the Nagarathar community to be included in this site.
