Our family came from Bohemia - in a city that was the
Reichenberg, but is now Liberec in the Czech Republic.
They were there as early as 1810 and most of them left
for America around 1850 -- except Karl, who did not have
children and stayed there until he died in 1906. He lived in
a suburb called Rocklitz.
There is an old Catholic Church that probably holds
alot of the family records.
I would like to know the name of that church.
Also, our family before 1800
came from Germany and made their
way south along the Elbe River to Bohemia.
We all want to know of our heritage, our family ties
and history at one time or another it seems.
So, if you know the name of this Church
I would greatly appreciate your sharing
the information with me.
