What a wonderful world it is
To be blessed with the laughter of children.
The smiles on their faces, sometimes a frown.
The tears on occasion, that fall to the ground.
An occasional skirmish, with the kid down the street,
And the girl of their dreams, they've yet to meet.
That special boyfriend, she dreams of at night.
And the dawning of love, in its first light.
All the special times, we parents get to share!
How blessed we are by our Lord up there.
So be wise and gentle, teach your child what is right.
Give love and patience, and help them walk in God's Light!
