A Child's Love

How gentle and fair,
So soft and sweet.
This little child of mine.
So proper and neat.

Dressed up in her laces,
and ruffles all around.
Hair up in curls,
She's the prettiest in town.

Tiny little nose,
Sweet blue eyes,
Matching the color,
Of warm summer skies.

The soft little voice,
She uses to sing,
Lifting so high,
It seems to take wing.

How blessed I am,
To have you my dear.
And share you with God,
Whom is always so near.

Grow up slowly,
Beautiful child of mine.
And stay that sweet girl.
Through God's endless time.

A Child's Love, is the purest, and truest emotion.
It runs strong and deep, faithful and trusting.
It's a child's love our Lord wishes from us.
