Excellent recording of Napalm Death playing live at the BBC studios,on the legendary John Peel show. Peel has been known for promoting wild,different, innovative and avant-garde music since the sixties, it's onlynatural that he should have the godfathers of grind in his show. The firsttwo sessions are legendary for the wild performance of the songs. Mick Harrisblasts away like a tornado, nonstop, it's impressive how this captures thelive feel of Napalm Death. We also have a few cover songs: "Walls"(originally by Siege) and "Conform or Die" and "S.O.B"originally written by japanese grinders and friends of ND S.OB. The japaneseband returned the favor by covering a ND song on the split 7" the bandsissued. The third session is really good too, with the new line-up gettingwarmer and all members working well. I particularly like Mick's performancein this session, he makes little funny and amusing noises during the songsand blasts violently. An essential record to the ND worshipper, coveringold songs and classics from the Harmony Corruption era.
I think this edition was only released as a CD.
