Samuel 3:1-9</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Hebrews 12:9-10</B></div> <bR> <div> _<U>Discipline</U>____ in love is for the Child's _<U>good</U>_______.</div> <div> I don't believe in any form of _<U>child</U>_ _<U>abuse</U>_!!!</div> <div> This usually comes about as a result of _<U>frustrated</U>____ parents.</div> <div> God has _<U>delighted</U>__ _<U>authority</U>_ to the parents.</div> <div> _<U>Delighted</U>_ authority is just as much authority as _<U>absolute</U>_ authority.</div> <div> There are 3 areas where God put man over man:</div> <div> A- _<U>church</U>_ B-_<U>Government</U>___ C-__<U>home</U>___</div> <div> God is a God of _<U>authority</U>__ and _<U>order</U>___.  Children need to grow up in an atmosphere of authority and _<U>order</U>__.  They need _<U>peace</U>__ of __<U>mind</U>__.</div> <div> Children must be taught:</div> <div> 1. To _<U>listen</U>__</div> <div> This will involve:</div> <div> A- _<U>submission</U>____ B-__<U>attention</U>___ C-_<U>concentration</U>___</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B>Stop & give clear Instruction!!!!!!!!!!!!</B></div> <div> 2. _<U>Voice</U>____ obedience</div> <div> The _<U>sooner</U>____ you start, the _<U>better</U>__ it will be.</div> <div> This is taught in the Bible:</div> <div> Deut. 13:4, 28:1, 30:8, Exodus 23:20-22, Ps 95:7, Jer. 7:23</div> <div> Accept _<U>nothing</U>___ less than _<U>obedience</U>_ to your _<U>quite</U>__-spoken _<U>word</U>__ on the _<U>first</U>___ instruction.</div> <div> Speak _<U>slowly</U>__ and without __<U>emotion</U>___.  Assure the child that you will _<U>follow</U>__ _<U>through</U>___.</div> <div> <B>Key--------_</B><B><U>consistency</U></B><B>___!!!!!!</B></div> <div> 3. _<U>Self</U>__ __<U>control</U>_________</div> <div> This must be taught by people who _<U>have</U>_______ it.  Ps. 131:2</div> <div> Daniel 1:8- He controlled his _<U>hunger</U>_______.</div> <div> We are all _<U>emotional</U>___ beings.</div> <div> They need _<U>self</U>___-_<U>control</U>__ when you are _<U>talking</U>__ to them.</div> <div> They need self-control when _<U>sitting</U>__ in _<U>church</U>_______.</div> <div> All obedience must be with a _<U>stern</U>__ _<U>voice</U>___.</div> <div> 4. The _<U>Joy</U>______ of _<U>serving</U>____ others.      Acts 20:35</div> <div> Teach them to be _<U>unselfish</U>___.  _<U>Polish</U>__ dad's _<U>shoes</U>__!!!</div> <div> Expose them to _<U>missionary`s</U>____.  Limit the number of _<U>toys</U>__!!!!!!!!!!!</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
