NOTES
Men have wrestled with _perplexed_ things from the beginning.
A- _Joel_______
B- _Habakkuk__
C- _Micah_____
D- _John___ the _Baptist_
God is not going to tell us the _why______ of everything.
Because things don't make __sense__ to us does not mean that they don't make _sense______ at all.
EXAMPLE
The story of _Joseph (family)______________. (Genesis 37-50)
Because some things do not make sense to us _now____ does not mean that they will _never________ make sense.
If everything made _sense_ to our _understanding___, then we would need _no____ _faith___.
The highest lesson God wants to _teach_ us:
"_trust___ Him _regardless___."
To teach us to trust Him, He sends things that _puzzle_ us.
And when He does, we can:
A- _bitter, resentful, mad_____
B- __tough it out__
C- _martyr, self-pity_____
D- __trust him & accept it!
RESULT- _peace_
We may not know _why___ but we know _who__!!!!

What the Lord told them made no _sense_. They obeyed anyway and their needs were _met__.
LESSON
_Nonsense_ to us is just _good__ _sense_ to God.
