I Cor. 6</B></div> <div> <B>It is still a </B><B><U>problem</U></B><B> today. </B><B>WHY???</B><B> We still live in bodies of </B><B><U>flesh</U></B><B>.  Getting </B><B><U>saved</U></B><B> did nothing to </B><B><U>help</U></B><B> the </B><B><U>flesh</U></B><B>. (Galatians5: 17)</B></div> <div> <B>Churches still </B><B><U>split</U></B><B>.</B></div> <div> <B>Most </B><B><U>church</U></B><B> problems start out as a </B><B><U>problem</U></B><B> between </B><B><U>2</U></B><B> people.  But because it is not </B><B><U>handled</U></B><B> Biblically, it ends up with </B><B><U>20</U></B><B> on one side and</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>30</U></B><B> on the other.</B></div> <div> <B>What does Matthew 18 teach??????</B></div> <div> <B>1- the </B><B><U>offended</U></B><B> is to </B><B><U>initiate</U></B><B> the contact.  It should not </B><B><U>stay</U></B><B> inside (church).  This is a </B><B><U>command</U></B><B> and not a </B><B><U>suggestion</U></B><B>.</B></div> <div> <B>2- Keep it </B><B><U>private</U></B><B>.</B></div> <div> <B>3- the purpose of going to the </B><B><U>offender</U></B><B> is to</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>gain</U></B><B> him back.</B></div> <div> <B>4- if offender will not</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>listen</U></B><B>, then go back with </B><B><U>1</U></B><B> or </B><B><U>2</U></B><B><U> </U></B><B>witnesses.</B></div> <div> <B>5- if that doesn't </B><B><U>work</U></B><B>, then</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>tell</U></B><B> the </B><B><U>whole</U></B><B> church.</B></div> <div> <B>What started as a </B><B><U>private</U></B><B><U> </U></B><B>problem between </B><B><U>2</U></B><B> people is now before the </B><B><U>whole</U></B><B> church!!!!!!!!</B></div> <div> <B>If the offender still doesn't do right, then </B><B><U>treat</U></B><B> him like the </B><B><U>unsaved</U></B><B>.</B></div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B>LESSON</B></div> <div> <B>God will </B><B><U>bless</U></B><B> our </B><B><U>effort</U></B><B> to </B><B><U>obey</U></B><B> Scripture in this </B><B><U>particular</U></B><B> area</B></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
