Thessalonians 4:3</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>For every negative command in the Bible, there are 2 positive principles:</B></div> <div> <B>1- it is meant to</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>protect</U></B><B><U> </U></B><B>us              2- to </B><B><U>provide</U></B><B> for us </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Several good arguments for waiting till after marriage for sex:</B></div> <div> <B>1- Protection from God's</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>judgment</U></B><B>   </B></div> <div> <B>We do</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>reap</U></B><B> what we </B><B><U>sow</U></B><B>.</B></div> <div> <B>2- Protect the </B><B><U>mind</U></B><B> from sexual </B><B><U>comparisons</U></B><B><U>.</U></B></div> <div> <B>3- Protect from </B><B><U>suspicion</U></B><B> and provides </B><B><U>trust</U></B><B>.</B></div> <div> <B>     Pre-marital sex </B><B><U>erodes</U></B><B> the trust factor to a certain degree.</B></div> <div> <B>4- Protect from </B><B><U>fear</U></B><B> and provide </B><B><U>peace</U></B><B> of mind.</B></div> <div> <B>    In the next 24 hours,</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>35,000</U></B><B> Americans will get a sexually transmitted </B><B><U>disease</U></B><B>.  There are now more than </B><B><U>34</U></B><B> of these </B><B><U>diseases</U></B><B>!!!!</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Parents: Your </B><B><U>rules</U></B><B><U> </U></B><B>without a </B><B><U>relationship</U></B><B> equals </B><B><U>rebellion</U></B><B>.  </B><B><U>58</U></B><B><U>%</U></B><B> of teens that are sexually </B><B><U>active</U></B><B> feel they have never gotten to know their </B><B><U>father</U></B><B> and </B><B><U>40</U></B><B><U>%</U></B><B> feel that way about their </B><B><U>mother</U></B><B>.</B></div> <div> <B>Most kids don't want </B><B><U>sex</U></B><B> but want only to be</B><B><U> </U></B><B><U>loved</U></B><B><U> </U></B><B>and accepted.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>How as parents do we deal with this?</B></div> <div> <B>1- set an example</B></div> <div> <B>2- talk freely about sex</B></div> <div> <B>3- don't hound them about it</B></div> <div> <B>4- eliminates sexual movies, reading material, etc.</B></div> <div> <B>5- remove sexually clothing</B></div> <div> <B>6- pray constantly about this matter</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>This is based on a survey done on youth groups across the nation in the year 2000-2001.</B></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
