Glorify the LORD
As the Scripture tells us, we are to glorify the LORD in everything we do or say.
It is real easy to get caught up in the things that are taking place and forget who
is suppose to get the glory. Sometimes we may catch ourselves doing so, sometimes we won't. When we don't catch ourselves, then the LORD has to show us who gets the glory. How? I believe that depends on the situation itself. He may reveal it through Scripture while you are reading HIS word. Those who fail to take notice and allow their pride to get in the way, HE may handle it in a much harder way. HE may force you to humble yourself before HIM in HIS own way. If you exalt the LORD, in return HE will exalt you as well. The LORD has HIS own ways in teaching us right from wrong. You may feel that HE is to hard on you, but that is the way your FATHER will handle you. HE does it out of pure love and nothing more. So when you are put in a position where your FATHER in Heaven is forcing you to humble yourself, don't fight it! Do the will of your FATHER, you will see a big change in your life for the good. Everything that HE does is for the good, we all know that. It may hurt to do so, but in the long run it will pay off for you with your FATHER in Heaven. Listed below is Scripture on this study;
Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in
your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
John 13:32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself,
and shall straightway glorify him.
Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he
that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that
he may exalt you in due time:
Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold
the humble in spirit.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the
proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you
up.
1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all
of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God
resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Accountable
I have touch this subject a little on other studies before, but I feel I need to speak
a little more on the subject. As the scripture tells us, we will stand before the
LORD to be judged for our works. HE will not judge us on the things that we
don't know of according to HIS word. But, HE will judge us on the things we do
know about HIS word and failed to follow. We are accountable for our own
doings. But, a pastor that has been given a flock of sheep to watch over, he will
be accountable for them and stand before the LORD to be judged for his works
in teaching and leading them according to the LORD'S word. That is a big
responsibility for one person to carry. But, they knew that before they ever
stepped forward to accept it, at least I hope they did. I have been told from some
Christians that they are willing to accept the responsibility for their own wrong
actions, knowing before they stepped forward to do it, that it goes against the
LORD'S word.
This is testing the LORD, actually it is more like daring the LORD to chastise
them. As the Scripture says the LORD will have HIS vengeance. Don't test the
LORD, you are writing checks your body can't cash. If you think it will effect
you only, you are a fool!
Believe it or not, anything we do will also effect those around us, especially those who love you. Example: That is just like saying, I am having problems that I can't deal with. If I take my own life, I don't have to worry much less deal with it any more. That is selfish and will effect everyone around you that cares. They have to live with the loss not understanding why you would do such a thing without coming to them for help.
There are a lot of Christians out there that are so selfish, all they care about is themselves and getting what they want their way. But that is ok, HE will teach you a lesson you will never forget and you will regret it one day. You will be forced to walk the path you set before you even if you don't want too. As the Bible tells us, we will reap what we sow.
I don't understand how someone could be so selfish, but that is the way it is sometimes. I believe they need to spend more time dealing with the LORD and HIS word. They sure prove that they don't trust or have any faith in the LORD at all, at least that is the way I feel about it. What could cause someone to feel that way, I really don't know. With so little faith and trust in the LORD such as this, I wonder if they do question and have doubts about their salvation.
I don't feel that I need to base this message according to scripture, I believe the majority of Christians know enough of the scripture to know where this message is coming from. Especially, if you have been keeping up with my studies on a regular bases. I have posted scripture with the others. If this message fits your walk with the LORD, my prayers will be with you. You need to spend some quality time with the LORD. I am sorry if you feel that I am being to harsh, but I have to speak what the LORD has laid on my heart.
Teach & Guide
I can't stress enough how the LORD will teach and guide us.
Anyone who is willing to walk according to HIS will. How well do
you want to know your LORD is up to you. Are you a willing soul?
If so surrender and allow the LORD to teach and guide you down
the path HE wants you to follow. Here is some Scripture on this:

Glorifying GOD
John 13:32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and
shall straightway glorify him.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it
unto you.
John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said,
Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory
which I had with thee before the world was.
John 21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And
when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is
written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto
thy name.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your
body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Everything we do, we do for the LORD and HIS Glory. We are not to glorify
ourselves for anything, HE should always get the glory. I know it can be real
easy to try and take the glory for something that has taken place. Sometimes we
fail to realize that without HIM, we are nothing. I believe every Christian may deal
with it sometime in their walk. When the LORD sets out to do something and
uses us in order to do HIS work, we do have a tendency to let it go to our heads.
We are human, right. But that is not the way it should be. We do learn after a
period of time of the mistake that has taken place and ask for forgiveness. HE
does forgive just like HE does with everything else. Isn't it nice to have such a
forgiving LORD. It can be really exciting to be used by the LORD in order to do
HIS work. It can also be very hard as well. They say that out of all the Christians,
only a handful is willing to surrender to do HIS work. I have known some to
surrender and after a period of years doing HIS work, decided it was to hard and
stopped. Walking with HIM is not a bed of roses. There are people out there who
die for HIM. But they die doing what they love the most, and that is bringing the
lost to the LORD for the LORD. The LORD does not command you to surrender
to HIM, but HE will use every willing soul HE can. I really don't understand why
more are not willing to be used. My personal opinion is that there should be a
line of people fighting to be first, instead it is just the opposite. It sure is a shame,
too. I am glad that when it was time to do something for us in order to save our
soul, JESUS was willing to step forward. That sure shows just how much Love
is within HIM. Don't you think so? HE knew before HE every left Heaven what
the LORD'S plan was for HIM. HE knew when and how HE was going to die. But
HE still came here and went through all that pain for us out of Love. Is that not
awesome to know someone loves us that much to do that just for us. I think so, I
myself feel I owe HIM my life for it. Everyone should feel that way, but there is a
lot of Christians out there that won't even witness for HIM. HE does command
everyone to witness for HIM, but they don't. Makes you wonder if there is any
love in them for others. HE teaches us that we should love our enemies and
witness to them. But they don't, all they care about is saving themselves and
forget about the others. I guess that is why the Bible tells us there will be more in
Hell than there will be in Heaven. I really don't know or understand why every
Christian don't do what is expected of them according to the LORD'S word. I
guess I will never know, but it sure is a shame. If you think about it, someone
loved you enough to witness to you and lead you to the LORD. Are you not glad
there was someone who loved you enough to do that, you could still be one of
those lost souls still wondering among the wolves.
