Holy Spirit
Speaks
The LORD speaks to us all the time through conviction in our hearts. The
question here is do you listen and follow the path that HE wants to lead you
down. Some will and some won't because of fear. They are not sure where the
LORD is leading them and what the outcome is going to be. This is when our
faith and trust in the LORD is tested. HE is going to test those who claim they
trust and have faith in the HIM. Will you truly follow the LORD'S way or your own.
The test that HE will put you through will reveal the truth. HE knows you better
than you know yourself. HE knows who will truly follow and who will not.
The will of GOD will never lead you, where the grace of GOD
cannot keep you.
This is so true, HIS grace will always keep those who are willing to walk
according to HIS will. I have dealt with so many Christians, and I have found it so
hard to believe that they have so little faith in CHRIST. Why????????? If you
have faith enough to accept the gift of salvation, then why is it you lack faith in
everything else. You are not given a ticket to hold for when the time comes you
can turn it in to go to Heaven. You accept it through faith in CHRIST. Have we
gotten so wrapped up in material things, that we can't believe in the things that
are not visible to us. You believed in GOD, but you have never seen HIM! The
only proof we have is what the Bible tells us. Do you believe what the Bible tells
you? I have so many questions, but no answers to them. This really bothers me
a lot, I try so hard to understand, but I can't. What will it take for you to have the
faith and trust in the LORD that HE expects you to have? Have you really asked
yourself that question and come up with an answer yet? If so, I would love for
anyone to share it with me. Could it be that you expected the LORD to do
something, but instead of doing it HIS way, you did it your way and it failed. And
now you feel that the LORD has failed you, and you lost faith in HIM. GOD never
fails, man fails! When the LORD sets out to do something, HE will see it through
in HIS way, and in HIS time. Everything is done according to HIS will, not your
will. When you pray to the LORD, do you pray according to your will or HIS will.
Has there been prayers of yours that have not been answered? Maybe it was
because you asked them according to your will and not HIS. I know that the
LORD has HIS way in building one's faith. It can really be hard for one to go
through it, but I know that sometimes it takes that for someone to have faith in
HIM. We can be really hard-headed a lot and HE usually has to do something
drastic to get our attention. Trust me, HE will! We are all different, but we are
common in so many ways. Our common ways are: Pride, selfishness,
Thoughtless ways, rebellion ways, anger and the list goes on. There is a lot of
things about us that are wrong and the LORD is the only one who can help us to
overcome them, that is if you have the faith in HIM and trust HIM. Are you going
to start trusting and having faith in HIM today? Only you can answer that
question. I sure hope so. May the LORD continue to bless you!
WORKS
We as Christians will one day stand before the LORD to be judged for our works.
The LORD expects all of us to set examples for the lost and tell the gospel to
those who don't know the truth. Lies are told every day, our job is to spread the
truth. But in order for us to spread the truth, we have to walk in the truth first.
There are a lot of Christians who have accepted CHRIST, but don't walk in the
truth. Now it could be lack of knowledge and experience, it could also be false
teaching of GOD'S word. Like I said, lies are being told every day. The Bible
teaches us that there are a lot of false teachers out there and we are to watch for
them. How do we watch for them? GOD, Himself will let you know who they are.
One thing that I have learned is that everyone needs to surrender themselves to
the teaching and leading of the HOLY SPIRIT. This is why we were given the
HOLY SPIRIT. The HOLY SPIRIT is what keeps us walking a straight path. Now
for those who have accepted CHRIST and still are struggling to try and learn the
Word of GOD. You need to surrender to the HOLY SPIRIT. Like I said, we are to
spread the Gospel, but in doing so we don't mold that person into being a true
Christian. That is GOD'S job, HE does the molding. If this person does not
accept Christ and have the HOLY SPIRIT, there will be no molding. They can still
learn GOD'S Word and try to walk by HIS Word, but they are not true Christians.
Now I know it is hard to try and obey all of GOD'S Word. You may not know all of HIS Word much less apply it to one's life. I don't know all of GOD'S Word and I know till the day I go to be with the LORD, I will still be learning it. That is why I am saying that every Christian needs to surrender to the teaching and leading of the HOLY SPIRIT. The only way I know to tell you how the HOLY SPIRIT works is by my own experience. It is through conviction that the HOLY SPIRIT lets us know what to do and what not to do. When I first surrendered to the HOLY SPIRIT, it really took some getting use to. I constantly dealt with conviction in everything. To be honest with you, half the time I didn't know if I was coming or going. It took some getting use to and total discipline. It is real easy to try to ignore the conviction that the HOLY SPIRIT lays on your heart. Especially, if you allow the Devil (sin) to enter your walk in any way. Once this happens you become a slave to sin. That is the worst thing anyone can do. There is no such thing as a little sin. But like I have said before no Christian is perfect, we are going to make mistakes and the minute you realize you have made one, take it to the LORD. Even if it is just a thought, not something you have acted upon. I found myself talking to the LORD all the time, I made a lot of mistakes. It didn't matter what I was doing or where I was going and where I was at. I am dead serious, I have found myself driving down the road talking out loud to the LORD just as if HE was sitting right beside me. Now the other cars that went by, I am sure they thought I was crazy for talking with someone who was not there. Who cares really, I know who I am talking to even if they don't know. I have been asked so many times by people if I was ok. They seen me talking to someone, but there was no one there. All I would say is sure I am, I am just talking to the LORD. That pretty much ended it right there. When you surrender to the HOLY SPIRIT and obey through total discipline, you will see after a period of time that it does get easier as you go. There will be such a change in you, some people will call you names. I have been told that I was very weird, and brain washed by family members. I have had some of my family go to others in my family and say they don't like to talk to me when it comes to the LORD and HIS Word. That is because of the way I speak about HIS Word. It is so different from what they are use to hearing. The only thing that I can say is I am what I am, because this is how the LORD has molded me. It has taken many of years and a lot of discipline to become what I am, and to be honest with you. I am very proud of who I am, and especially proud of who I walk with. So if you don't mind the name calling and want to know and understand GOD'S Word. Then I would strongly suggest that you surrender to the teaching and leading of the HOLY SPIRIT, I guarantee you won't go wrong in doing so.
Filled with the Holy Spirit:
Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye
were sealed with that HOLY SPIRIT of promise,
For those of you who don't have the knowledge and understanding of the promise given to us by our LORD JESUS CHRIST. When we accept JESUS as our SAVIOR, we are filled with GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT. The HOLY SPIRIT is given to us to lead us and teach us, we are to give the HOLY SPIRIT total control of us.
Salvation is Forever!
Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
