TEACHING THE GOSPEL
I was asked by a friend to respond to a email that he received from another Christian. I know in my heart he is a Christian! We all can accept CHRIST and still have different beliefs as to what the word of the LORD is trying to tell us. Because of this, we are not to judge or put a stumblingblock in their path. We are to teach HIS word and through HIS conviction HE will mold and change them. The closer we are to the LORD the better we understand HIS word, that is what I truly believe.
Ps. 119:89............Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in Heaven:
This verse means just what it says. On earth, man changes GOD'S word to meet their own views, but in heaven it never changes!
Just because we don't agree on the meaning of HIS word does not give us the right to judge their salvation. All I can say is show me two people who can totally agree on everything (GOD'S Word) and I'll show you the LORD. You can't, neither can I show you HIM! So please if you are going to teach HIS word, be prepared to face a difference in your belief from their's. Like I said, it is through the conviction of the LORD when they hear HIS word will they know it is the truth! So please be careful in what you say or do, and always remember;
Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
COMMITMENT

Now lets talk about commitment, whether it be to the LORD or to a mate. I will start off with a mate, not marriage but dating. My true feeling on this is that no woman should feel that she should have to summit or commit to any man who is not willing to make a commitment to her or a man should not have to commit to a woman, who is not willing to commit to him. I know from experience, both should be committed to each other totally. A man or woman who thinks that they can do what ever they want and that it is alright. But their mate is not allowed to do the same, because they are committed to them. There is a bad problem in this relationship (dating). I would not even call it a relationship. But you would be surprise just how often this does happen. This also happens in a lot of marriages, then they wonder why they have so many problems in their marriage. I have been there and my son is dealing with this now. It sure makes you wonder how you were taught what the meaning of commitment is. Here is the meaning of commit or commitment for those of you who have forgotten the true meaning...............
Commit- To entrust; to give in charge; to pledge or bind.
If you are not willing to make a commitment to the other, don't expect the same from them. You don't have that right!
Now lets talk about the LORD. This is what HE wants from you is total commitment. HE is committed to you totally in every way. But it is funny how we expect so much from HIM, but are not willing to commit totally to HIM. Sure we are not perfect, we do have faults. We are human, we will be perfect in every way once our souls leave this body of flesh. But until then, we should commit ourselves to HIM totally. Life would be so much better, if you would do this. If you have never experienced total peace in your life. You don't know what you are missing. This is what HE will give to you, if you are willing to commit to HIM totally. I know, I have lost 4 loved ones in my life. The death of the first two was really hard on me, because I didn't know the LORD like I know him today. The death of the last two was so much easier to deal with, because the LORD gave me total peace over them. Sure I miss them, but it was a lot easier for me to accept the deaths of the last two. This is what GOD says about commitment.................
Psalms 37:5
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. KJV
Proverbs 16:3
3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. KJV
From my experience, I can say this is so true! There is more, but I will let you do the foot work (research). This a good way to know the LORD and HIS word.

Why GOD sends trials
James 1:2-12
There are three reasons why GOD sends trials in our life:
1.) To test our faith
2.) To teach us patience
3.) To bring us into Spiritual Maturity
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations; {temptations: or, trials}
How should we react to the trials?
1.) We should be happy and thankful that he loves us and not bitter because of the trials.
2.) We should ask for wisdom, he will give us the wisdom and the strength to deal with the trials.
istakes. We should admit to our children that we made a mistake. We are human, too! They will respect you more!
