People can become _slaves_ to a fascination with the future.
The steps are: 1- _curiosity_ 2- _experimentation_ 3- _fascination__ 4-_faith_ 5-__bondage_
Just because a _predication__ comes true does not prove that the _prophet_ is from God. (Deut. 13:1-3)
If false doctrine accompanies a prophecy, then the prophet is not of _God_. (V. 2)
If the prediction does not come true, then that is _proof_ that the prophet is not from God. (Deut. 18:22)
2- _wants (lust)_
People use "_good__ _luck_" charms.
A- _amulet__ B- __charms_ C-_spell__ _potions D- _letters_ of _protections_
3- false _hopes_
Contacting the _dead_, _salvation_ beyond the __grave_.
Truth: We can't do _anything_ for _anyone__ whose _dead_!
During _séance_, people claim to talk to the _dead_ and hear the _voices of the dead. What did they see or hear??
Answer: an _impersonation_ of a dead loved one by an _evil__ Spirit.
Can the spirit of a dead _person_ _return_ to converse with the _person_?? _NO_ The dead can't be in _both_ places. Phil. 1:19-24 II Cor. 5 6-9
Luke 16:25-31- The rich man could not _come_ _back_!!
Our purpose of a séance is to _convenience_ one into believing that a person who dies without _salvation_ is still _around_ and can talk with you.
There was one séance in Scripture: It involved an _unspiritual__ man who was in _trouble and _looking_ for help. I Sam. 28:6-19
Notice: The medium was _shocked_ and _upset_ when Samuel's _spirit_ instead of the _evil_ spirit. She expected a _demon_.
Another aspect of false hope is _reincarnation__. Millions believe this!!! Heb. 9:27
LESSONS
1- We don't all _worship_ the same _God_ and all _roads_ don't lead to _Heaven_.
2- The devil will use any _trick_ he can to _dam_ the souls of men.

1- _curiosity_ 2-_false_ _hope_ 3- _needs__ 4- false _spirituality_
5- Power of the _mind_-_expand__ mental _power_, power to _control__ people.
A- _hypnotism___- it produces a _passive_ state of _mind, which is _open__ to demonic _influence_.
B- _E.S.P.- communication from _mind_ to _mind_ without the use of the 5 _senses_. Mind _telepathy_
C- _T.M._- originates with the _Hinduism___ and _Buddha__. Attempts to reach a _passive state of _mind_ so that the person can come in tune with _God_ as perceived by them. (Theirs) not the Lord!
DEMON POSSESSION/OPPRESSION
Demons can:
1- _attack_ a person from _without_
2- _attack__ a person from _within__
3- Demon possession can range from _partly_ to complete _possession__.
4- Can attack for a period of _time_ and then _leave_. (I. Sam 16:23)
There is:
1- Demon- _oppressions_ (Acts 10:38)- often _physical_ but can be _mental_.
2- Demon- _possession_- it inhabits the body of the _victim_ and speaks out of the person especially when confronted in the _name_ of the _Jesus_.
Example- _Judas_ (John 13:27) it ended in _suicide_.
The Bible indicates that there are _degrees__ of _different__. Matt. 12:45
Some are stronger than others Mark 9:28 & 29
Some people enter into voluntary relationships with the _Devil_ in order to have power to do things.
Can that person be saved and delivered? _YES_
Can a saved person be demon possessed? _NO____ Co. 1:13, I John 4:4, I John 5:18
The Devil cannot _possess_ that which Jesus has _redeem_ with His own blood. The Holy Spirit will not share his _Temple_.
CLOSING THOUGHTS ON THE DEVIL
We do not need to give the Devil any ground on which to stand how do we give him ground?
1- hang on to _sin .
2- refuse to _repent or forgive_.
3- dabble in the _cult_.
4- Let our minds _wonder_.
5- Not resist the _Devil_.
How can we resist?
1- destroy all occult _books_, _objects__, and _etc._ in your possession.
2- use the _Word_ of _God__.
3- Remain on the _alert_! I Peter 5:8
LESSON
Our _minds_ should not be _vacant_. We are to _meditate_ on God's Word.
