Ten questions were prepared by Raghida, a 2nd year Laboratory student and asked to Peggy, a 2nd year physical therapy student. In the answers, Peggy has implied and Raghida has inferred a lot of remarks. In fact, this little report tells you how the interview was done and what the synthesis was.Raghida: Do other people interest you in an important way?
Peggy: I don’t care about people and about what they say. I believe in freedom. But if they encourage me to do something, I like to listen to their opinion.
Raghida: Do you have a small circle of close friends, rather than a large number of friends, speaking acquaintances?
Peggy: As far as I am concerned, quality is more important than quantity. That is why I prefer to have a small group of real friends and not a big group of false ones.
Raghida: Are you rarely happy unless you have a special reason?
Peggy: I’m always happy and I like to live my life as if every day was the last day of my life.
Raghida: what does " death " mean to you?
Peggy: I don’t like to die or to lose someone close to me. Death makes me feel upset, sad, and alone…. So death is emptiness and loneliness. It is going and never returning. This idea makes me angry and gives me the shivers.
Raghida: Are you normally considered "cold"? do you have find it easy to express your emotions?
Peggy: In fact, I have difficulty in expressing emotions to someone I don’t trust. I need to know the person very well and, in this case, I can easily express my emotions. I am not "cold" but I just need time.
Raghida: What is your favorite "credo" and why?
Peggy: I believe in all what has been said about equality among people and especially among men and women.
Raghida: If you were a minister, what would have been the first thing you would change?
Peggy: As I said, I would try to realize equality among men and women.
Raghida: If you want to travel for a long time, what is the first thing you take with you?
Peggy: I’ll take my doggy! I like him.
Raghida: What do these words mean to you?
Love- Hatred
Peace-War
Tears-Happiness
Peggy: Love and Hatred are two opposite feelings. Love is confidence and honesty while Hatred is dishonesty. I want to note that I never hate a person. About peace! It’s rare to see it accomplished in this world. And the first cause of war is "money". About tears, they have two sources: happiness and sadness. Certainly, I like crying of happiness and not of sadness.
Raghida: Peggy, if you were me, what would you have asked yourself?
Peggy: yes! I would have liked you to ask me what are the most important qualities I like in a person. Generous persons who have strong personality attract me.
From all that preceded, Raghida has reached this synthesis:
Peggy is a free person, she likes to live her life the way she wants without caring about what people say, unless they encourage her to do something. She is a smart young woman who prefers quality to quantity. That is why she is surrounded by a small group of real trustworthy friends.
Being a joyful person, Peggy hates talking about death because she considers it to be equal to loneliness and emptiness, the two things she tries to avoid. She’s optimistic but has trouble in trusting easily and expressing her emotions to anyone. She is a reasonable lady who believes in equality among men and women. In addition to all that, she’s very emotional and very attached to her dog. Finally, trying hard to live peacefully, hate doesn’t know the way to Peggy’s heart.
