Women's Rights

Topic: Women nowadays have succeeded in getting a lot of rights. However there are a few who, unfortunately, still don't have many; some men don't accept the fact that they might be equal to them.

Each human being has rights: men, children and women. But women's rights are being raped. Even
though they have achieved some rights, they still have a lot to get like taking decisions,
learning and also being equal to men.

In some societies, not only can't women take decisions, but they are also submitted to men's
decisions. They are obliged to obey their fathers, bow their heads to their brothers and
later on accept all their husbands' instructions. In such societies, women are born to serve men
and be like slaves. No one cares about their rights of liberty and respect. Women are supposed
to stay at home to take care of their children and clean their houses. But why? don't they
deserve to go out and have fun? They are human beings, and they deserve to be happy.

In other but civilized societies, women have more liberty. They have a different way of
living: they go out, share opinions with their partners and, also, they are educated. But most men
sabotage these educated women. They try everything to make them fail so as not to improve and
surpass them. Haven't you read in the Cosmo Report about a lover who killed his girlfriend
because of her socio-economic status? In this report, the FBI investigations revealed that 30%
of the women are killed by their husbands or boyfriends. Why are these women deprived of the
rights of living, being educated and improving in life?

Men don't accept to be equal to women. They always want to be leaders, to boost their own
personalities so as to dominate women and rape their rights. Wherever we go, we notice that men
are more powerful than women. In the law for example, two women's testimonies are equal to one man's testimony. In religion, the man is the one who decides to get divorced. Women can do nothing
without men's agreement. For example a girl can't go out without her father's permission.

In conclusion, women are deprived of most of their rights such as liberty, life, respect and
equality even though they have succeeded in getting some. Men refuse to be equal to them despite
the world evolution. They are trying assertively to dominate women academically, professionally
and socially. So, let's try to help men to look at women in a different way, to respect them
because we all have the right to be respected.
