Women's lives have changed. What is the difference between the way women were viewed in the past and the way they are viewed nowadays? How does giving them their rights affect our society?

Most women throughout history have had fewer legal rights and career opportunities than men. Wifehood and motherhood were considered their responsibilities, as women's most important professions. Women had to take care of their children and their husbands. Human rights hailed some changes that make the world safer for women and have the liberty to choose the person they like to be. Nowadays, women can go out and earn money. They are "businesswomen."

In the past, there was no place for Ladies. They used to describe women as an inferior to men. Woman could not own properties. She had to give up her name and give her husband all her properties. They would be under the control of her husband. Women were not allowed to work and earn money. If they wanted to go out, a relative man went with them. One woman was stoned to death because she wanted to leave the country with a strange man.

They used to do farm work and wear the burka. For example in Afghanistan, one woman was beaten to death by an angry man for exposing her arm while she was driving. The windows of the house where a woman lives , used to be painted, so no one could see her. And she didn’t wear shoes not to be heard. Therefore , women were treated in a violent way, including rape, beatings, forced marriage and even death.

If a woman was raped, it was her mistake but a power for the man. So the woman lied to cover up. They used to live alone in the house, take care of their children, and not allowed to speak or give their opinion. Women became depressed, stayed in the corner, lifeless bodies, lying motionless, they couldn’t speak or eat. They became mad. It was the main reason for the suicide.

But when the fight begins, a list of women's rights is dressed. Human rights hailed some changes that make the world safer for women and have the liberty to choose their position in the society. The first request is to stop violence against women.

Now, women can talk if she is treating in a bad way. She can apply a petition for divorce. She can learn and obtain a diploma, work and earn money. She can have her own properties. She’s obliged to marry a man chosen by her parents. She has the choice to marry the man she loves. She can take charge of her children if she wants the divorce.

A lot of things have changed in a woman's life. Now she’s a businesswoman. Every woman can be herself and behaves as she wishes. She can speak and she will be heard.

Woman has a self-realization and full participation in society. She can be whoever she wants. She has the right to dream and let her dream come true.

Woman and man are equal. The two of them are the wonders of creation. We have to respect our Creator just as we have to respect each other. From a servant to a businesswoman, her way to live has changed. We have to fight to reach the aim we want. No one owns the air. One and all, we all own the right to respect.
