In reference to NIBE students and training.

The NABEA is no longer accepting NIBE students who have taken the class after 15 August 2000.
If you are already a member, or have been schooled previously, you are not affected.
As long as you have taken an NIBE class prior to this date, and the instructor has been previously approved by the NABEA, you are eligible for membership under that training. Otherwise, you will be required to take the NABEA course to obtain membership.

There are counterfeit credentials being sold bearing the NABEA logo. These credentials are being sold in foreign languages. Law Enforcement agencies are being advised to confiscate the credentials. Prosecution is at their discretion. This Association has never supported, nor authorized the manufacture nor issuance of such credentials. The official working language of the NABEA and this country is English. If you speak another language, you will be able to identify yourself in that language as needed.

First New York State elects Hillary, now…
… they pass their version of an alleged Bail Enforcement law.

Governor George Pataki signed a bill into law in NY on the 21st of November which does nothing more than either creating a 'paper tiger' law, or wiping out Bail Enforcement altogether. This law not only puts us under the PI and Security regulations, but more importantly, requires a $500,000 surety bond! A) Who of us can afford $10,000 a year for non-protection? And, B) Who out there has the necessary $500,000 worth of collateral? Not us. Thanks George, just what we needed, more restrictions on the law abiding citizens, and making it easier for the criminals. GREAT JOB George! Taking another bite out of the blue collar workers pocket… and for what? Another 'feel good law' that does nothing?!
