Nintendo 64 Extreme - Experience The N64 To The Extreme

Interaction Still a Question - Sunday, September 3
What the heck is wrong with our Live Chat room and Message Board? I don't know, I'm asking myself the same question. It seems our provider for those utilities (Bravenet) has changed their linking format and members must change their HTML code to work in harmony with their servers. Yet I am still having problems, but nevertheless, I'll keep at it until I get it. Hopefully before the end of the day. Sorry again for the inconvience.

Raiders of the Lost Cart - Saturday, September 2
It's taken four long years, but Tomb Raider has finally come home to Nintendo 64. Well, sort of anyway. LucasArts and developer Factor 5 have teamed up to bring Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine to the console later this year, and it's a game that in its 3D design captures the play mechanics that made Lara Croft so popular (and expands upon them) while delivering the license and spirit of the Indiana Jones franchise.

The NEW has Arrived! - Friday, September 1
As I said before, Nintendo 64 Extreme would be creating a mirror site courtesy for the next-generation system, the Nintendo Game Cube. Well, here it is! All ready to go and reved up to provide the most up-to-date news/rumors concerning Nintendo's most talked about system. Once the system is released to the US (which I believe is next year) this site will also be providing cheats, codes, news, reviews, strategy guides, and all the essentials for experiencing the Game Cube to the EXTREME! So, take a look at our new sister site by clicking on the link under the menu bar.

We're Back! - Friday, September 1
No updates lately...eh? Wonder why? Well, school started this Monday, so I've been pretty busy and haven't had the chance to update our site in awhile, my apologies. Also, I've been working like a madman on our new NCube site which will be posted in a short amount of time, so check us out later for that new addition.

Make Way for the New! - Friday, August 25
A little puzzled with that heading? Well, I'll clear it up for you. With all the rucus concerning Nintendo's upcoming system, we've to decided to add our very own, Nintendo Game Cube page for easier input on what in the heck is happening with the brand new system. Since changes in news and rumors change so drastically fast, we see no reason why not  to create a page for an easier concept of whats going on. So check up shortly on our new addition.

Interactive Options Unavailable - Thursday, August 24
I regret to say that two of our Interactive features are unavailble at the moment. Via the Live Chat room and Message Board. Our provider for these features, Bravenet, in my perceiving is undergoing problems with their site and all accounts and HTML tags are being "interupted", therefore, making our interactive features unavailable. I deeply apologize for this inconvience and I and/or Bravenet will be trying to fix this problem ASAP, hopefully getting these features up and running very soon.

GameCube in Action! - Thursday, August 24
We'll make this short but sweet -- shots of the system in action prove that the early disappointing shots don't show it all.

Miyamoto & Future Mario Bros. - Wednesday, August 23
Here's an interesting quote we found foretelling the new image that Miyamoto has for the Mario Bros.

Shigeru Miyamoto: "Mario is a really good guy. He's not 'just a nice guy' though - he works hard. He sweats his guts out for his family and his girlfriend. He exercises every day because he has to play the starring role every time a new Nintendo console is released. Right now, he seems to be making preparations for the new Dolphin. Oh, you will see a new side to him on the Dolphin. Don't you think Mario and Luigi have been too cutesy lately? I want them to act a little more like adults. So you will see a matured Mario. As for his brother [Luigi], he now has a cool attitude about things. He believes he doesn't need to play a main roll. He's a second-born son and he knows how to take a break, just like me. I'm a second-born son too."

Shigeru Miyamoto, further comments on the mature Mario: “This is in regard to how we are going to deal with the design of the next Mario and his surroundings. I am talking about background scenery, and I'm talking about Mario's facial expressions. In the past few years those areas have become much more geared toward children. What we're going to attempt to accomplish with the next Mario game is to allow older gamers to find interest in the title as much as younger ones and not to be ashamed to play it.”

Shigeru Miyamoto: “I really want to make my own game. And to do so I really have to start constructing some very compact game - something to be the core of the game. It's one if the main reasons I'm shifting to the Dolphin. With the system in mind, I am now actually very carefully planning something and taking a long time. What I'm doing is thinking about five years from now - what this industry will be like then. Right now, I am reaching a lot of school kids, but they will all be in high-school soon. That's what I am thinking of.”

Next-Gen System Gets a Name - Tuesday, August 22
Depending on what month it is, Nintendo's next-generation console has a different name. N2000. Project Dolphin. Star Cube. Nintendo Advance. We've heard them all before, but we're not sure which one to believe. Well, at least not until now.

But now we have come into more details and we've finally got the final name for Nintendo's "Dolphin" system: Nintendo Game Cube. This name can also be shortened as Nintendo Cube or, most likely, N-Cube.
