Zelgadis laid in one of the INN beds, his eyes stared sightlessly at nothing..

The room was dark and the others had long since retired to their own rooms.

Lina's room was next his own, he could here her move about…he wondered what

was keeping her up so late…Lina. Just that one name made his heart race, that

one name. Lina was like a splash of color on an otherwise dreary day. He

didn't see any point in denying it…what was the use. He was in love with Lina

Inverse and there was nothing he could do about it. Steeling his resolve, he

swung his legs over the side. Standing he walked towards his room door ,

noticing his shirt was lying on the back of his seat he walked over to pick

it up. Shaking his head he decided to leave it there.

Zel took a deep breath as he knocked on Lina's door. Maybe I should have put

a shirt on…the door opened a crack and a red eye peeped through. He watched

slightly amused as the door swung open and her eyes went wide with shock. He

smiled crookedly as he noted that she was wearing a night -shirt with chibi

dragons all over. "Zel…" her voice was questioning. "Lina …I have to tell you

something…" gently tilting her chin with his finger he brought his lips close

to her own. "I think I'm in love with you…" brushing a light kiss across her

lips he smiled lazily. He was rewarded by her bright blush and her sparkling

eyes. "Zel…I've been waiting for you to say that for a long time…"

Zel smiled in slight satisfaction as he wrapped his arms around Lina's slim

waist. She was staring avidly at his bare torso…which was ok with him. "Lina

are you sure…" he was still a little hesitant. What would someone such as

reached up to wrap her own arms around his neck. "I love you…" her voice

trailed off as she kissed him softly on the lips.
