Stop being so hard on yourself!  Some of our lessons are hard at first, and
this was one of them.  You did a super job on your sun and the butterfly is
nice, also.  Your leaf just needs a little more work and it'll be fine.
The main thing is that you have learned a new technique and hopfully you
will practice it so that you will be able to use it again in the future.
