Drop Shadow without a Filter

The assignment is to create two (2) more  images using the deformation shadow technique learned in the tutorial. One image should be a bowl of or piece of fruit and the other image should be a vase or bowl of flowers with deformations shadows showing various lighting effects and post allt three (3) - the one from the tutorial as well as the 2 new ones to my homework page.

 Sorry, but I didn't have required mages - bowls with fruits or flowers.

 I couldn't get the clear candle only with black shadow, so I did still one shadow.

 

The message and ribon from facilitator:

I'm sorry that you were not able to find a bowl of fruit or flowers for this assignment, but you did provide two other examples, so we'll call it even. :)
Perhaps if you had been able to remove the exsisting shadow from the candle it would have worked a little better.  But your examples show that you understood the lesson.  I think that it provides us with a great way to add depth and realism to a picture.  I hope that you enjoyed this one and will be able to use it again in the future.
