I'm Glad You Are Interested In Joining. I'm Glad To Tell You It's Quick And Painless. First, you need to choose whether you'd like to be on the regular Mudpies list, or the Mudpies Digest version:

The "Regular Mudpies List" Will Let You Read All The Mail Being Sent To The List As Soon As Possible. All Member's Messages Are Immediately Sent Out To You As Soon As They Arrive At The Automated Server Which Redistributes Copies Of Them To All Members.
The "Mudpies Digest" Allows An Option To Those Who Need To Cut Down On The Number Of Individual Pieces Of Mail They Receive. It's A Combined Version Of All Posts Submitted Each 24 Hours. At The End Of Each Day, All Messages Sent To The Group Are Gathered And Distributed In One Larger Message To All Digest Members. As With The Regular Mudpies List, When You Subscribe To The Digest, You Will A Confirmation Message And The Return Of That Is Required To Process Your Request To Join.

In Order For The Listserver To Run Efficiently, Any E-mail Address That Returns Messages Back For Any Reason Will Have To Be Removed From The List. This Includes Notices From Mailboxes That Have Too Many Messages In Them And Cannot Receive Any More. If You Are Away Or Busy And Your Mailbox Fills Up, This Could Occur. This Doesn't Mean That We Want You To Leave, But That We Need To Remove You So As Not To Cause Excessive Work For Our Listserver Manager. Just Re-Subscribe To The Group And Let Us Know When You're Back.
Lastly, Technical Glitches Can Occur. If You Have Not Heard Back From The Mudpies Within A Day or Two, Please Write To The President And Ask About Your Membership. He/She Can Tell You If You've Been Added To The List As Well As Help You With Any Problems You Might Be Having In Getting Signed Up...

3. You will receive a confirmation message that must be returned in order for the request to be processed. This prevents any accidental or invalid subscribing. Once you return it, you'll be receiving list mail in no time.
