Wooo! 1st place twice! Photo by Altered States Magazine 		I've been going PVC-mad lately, thanks to clearance deals from sites like Hobby Link Japan and Big Bad Toy Store. So between the clears/pewters that make up half the damn case of each SCF Act, and the extras I end up with since I get the US Heroes of Cybertron as well, I end up with extras. And I figure I PAID for the friggin' things, I might as well get some use out of them.

So I started on the painting. There's a lot of recolor potential in these guys, even without going into alternate color schemes for the same character as the original. (Okay, maybe not so with Armada.)

For those also thinking of painting up their PVCs and toys, I use the Games Workshop "Citadel Colours" acrylics, despite having the stupid "u" in "Colors". Enamels tend to do weird things with the PVC material, usually ending up all gummy. Reprolabels.com make an absolutely perfect set of faction sigil decals for decorating PVCs, the "MicroMaster" set.
