Ah, Ginrai. The drunken abusive bastard. Such leadership potential. Did you know that the "Fire Guts" power is actually fueled by whiskey? It's true! Fire water burn!
Any rate, this PVC doesn't lend itself horribly well to recolors. Basically, you've got the orange Fire Guts version of Ginrai, or the black "Nucleon Quest" version of Optimus Prime. And after Black Rodimus and Monocle, I'm bloody sick of painting PVCs 75% black.
Though I suppose at some point, I'm gonna do that damn Nucleon Quest Prime. Assuming I've got another Ginrai sitting around. Probably. Sigh.
Finally got a little more use out of that Red Gore paint. I hate buying paint that only barely gets used.
I kinda wish I didn't feel obligated to come up with some kind of interesting story for each of these.
The chromed parts on the toy are actually orange. I don't think orange metallic chromey paint exists. Shining Gold made a decent substitute.
(Watch someone find orange metallic chromey paint now.)
