Yeah, I suppose I could have painted him up as Grand, the head for Grand Maximus, in the dim hope that one day I might, well, actually get my hands on a Grand Max PVC. But having a single, solitary Robots in Disguise PVC amused me enough to overrule the more logical choice.
Well, okay, if I ever end up with an uncolored Fort Max PVC, I suppose I'll have a base for Brave Maximus. But still.
There's really not a whole lot to be said for the painting of Emissary himself. I mean, it's a pretty simple color scheme. I think I may need a new thing of red paint, frankly. It's blobbing, even when I thin it out with some water.
Unfortunately, Reprolabels doesn't make a sigil decal SMALL enough to fit into the chest-piece. I can't imagine trying to cut it out even if they did. I'd need surgical scissors.
Now is the time for ranting.
F*** YOU TAKARA AND YOUR F***ING PAINTING THE F***ING PEGS ON THE F***ING PVCS. I mean, Christ. Cerebros' left arm came RIGHT off. Like, no resistance at all. I twisted ONCE, not even hard, and the peg snapped clean off. I took the classic Battle Beast Repair route, snipping off a bit of paperclip, making a hole in the snapped-off peg and arm with a thumbtack, and workign the two together. It's not the cleanest repair job in the world (the arm doesn't line up like it used to), but it works.
Cyclonus' head also came off the exact same way. I'm worried that my pewter Scorponok's waist will follow suit. ARGH. |
