Welcome one and all to the home of NE UK indie film house 'Mr Green Pictures', where we produce 'no budget' films, using amateur actors who don't have a clue. We aren't sure what we're aiming to accomplish, but what we produce is reasonably entertaining and commercially invalid. All our recent films are available to view right here on this very website!!!!
REQUEST FOR ACTING TALENT: WE ARE BASED IN DARLINGTON, COUNTY DURHAM, UK. AS WE ARE ONLY AMATEURS, WE CAN'T OFFER ANY MONEY, BUT IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA AND ARE REASONABLY GOOD AT ACTING (AND WOULD LIKE TO BE IN A FILM SUCH AS THE ONES BELOW) PLEASE DROP US A LINE AT:
themattgreen@hotmail.com IF WE EVER GET INTO ANY FILM FESTIVALS, IT WILL BE EXPOSURE FOR ANY PARTICIPANTS, AND IF WE ARE AWARDED ANY MONEY, YOU WILL BE SURE TO RECEIVE A SHARE (WE CAN EVEN WRITE OUT A CONTRACT FOR YOU BEFOREHAND IF YOU DON'T ENTIRELY TRUST OUR WORD).Currently we have four completed films,
'Illegal Substance'; Jimmy Miller, a pilot working for the Transport Company(which needs no other name) finds himself in a courtroom drama from beyond the stars when he's accused of smuggling an illegal substance onto the surface of a planet ruled by robots .
This can be viewed in realmedia format (optimised for 56k viewing, this is one of the few realmedia streams that I know of which is actually watchable using dialup internet connection).
'In Two Minds'; a man with a hideous scar has an argument with himself over the validity of cosmetic surgery. (in keeping with consistently being inconsistent, this film is in wmv format and is stored in a zip archive. It's a 3mb download)
'The Stalking UFO'; A (very) amateur documentary maker has his exposé on the many lies the government tells us about agriculture ruined when he is repeatedly harassed by a flying saucer.
This can be viewed in realmedia format (optimised for 56k viewing, this is one of the few realmedia streams that I know of which is actually watchable using dialup internet connection).
And 'Travels of a Plasticine Man'; The video diary of the travels of a plasticine man.

"Jimmy miller explains to the robot jury why they shouldn't throw him into the sun", scene from 'Illegal Substance'.
