Monument Park may be one of the youngest schools in the area, but is a school to watch closely
King rugby is going to triumph again this year! We can announce proudly, that our first rugby team are so far unbeaten. The other teams are also performing well. If the guy’s just keeps on working this hard, I am sure the interschool-competition will be a ‘walkover’!
Don’t forget about the girls on the netball-court. This year, the first netball team consists out of a group of very young players-younger than previous years. But don’t underestimate that team. Our u/14 team are a team to be reckoning with. They are so far unbeaten!
The boy and girl’s hockey teams are also performing very well this year. Everybody is very enthusiastic and is working very heart. From the girl’s first team, we can expect a lot because the school have faith in them, like miss. Zietsman does.
Badminton is
also a kind of sport in which Monument Park performs in very well, and
they will do it again this year. Mrs. Rossouw is very happy with her first-ranked
player in the first team, a former Paarl-gymnasium pupil that is part of
the Boland-team for badminton.
