Duane Pesice is the fiction editor and webmaster of LfO, and the author of the tales Ghoul Picnic and Green, which are reprinted at this site. He is a writer of Science Fiction and Horror tales, and his work can be found online at Planet Moderan, as well as the September issue of Quantum Muse (and other areas). Offline, he has had a piece of verse (Amphibians) printed in Cthulhu Cultus, with future tales planned for that fine fanzine and others, including Dark Legacy.
He is a native new Englander, having been born in the state of Maine some forty very odd years ago, and resides in a suburb of Chicago, surrounded by thousands of books and various electronic devices.
He has embarked on a novel set in the Cthulhu Mythos, in which the tale "Ghoul Picnic" will appear in altered form. The novel is about half-finished, and more excerpts from it will appear here.
Mr. Pesice also manages the Cthulhu Mythos writers' workshop Outside Looking Out, and sporadically contributes reviews to Amazon.com and other online sources. He would like to see Cthulhu become a household word, even if nobody knows how it is properly pronounced.
