Mr. Ambuehl is the well-known writer of a great many Cthulhu Mythos tales and poems, which have seen publication in a variety of organs, such as the Chaosium anthology "The Ithaqua Cycle", his book "Correlated Contents" (reviewed here at LfO), The Reader's Guide to the Cthulhu Mythos, and others. He is the co-editor of the fanzine Cthulhu Cultus, and a collector of Cthulhu Mythos-related items. He lives in the northern midwest of the United States, and has been reported to have very cool sideburns.
Jim is well-represented here at LfO, in the fiction, humor and verse sections, and we are glad to have his work here to display for the fans of the Cthulhu Mythos. It can also be said here that it was he who came up with the idea for this website originally, though I am afraid we've gone far afield from his initial brainstorming on the subject at the usenet group alt.horror.cthulhu.
While wearing his editorial hat, Jim helped to foster the spectacular works of JB Lee, for which we should all be thankful, and the odd prose of Duane Pesice (the jury is still out). There are probably others that he has encouraged in this manner...
