History:
|
|
With
Justice League America, Justice League International, Justice League Task
Force and Extreme Justice disbanded, most of the former Justice League
members became busy getting their lives in order. Since Wonder Woman,
Flash, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Aquaman and J'onn would be the new
lineup, former Leaguers Nuklon, Obsidian, Ice Maiden and Metamorpho
returned to the Refuge to remove their personal belongings. Consequently,
the four, along with Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, were ambushed when
the alien Hyperclan came to Earth. The Refuge was destroyed, severely
injuring Nuklon, Obsidian, Icemaiden and killing Metamorpho, who gave his
life ensuring the safe return to Earth of the others. Confronting this new
threat, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern once again grouped with Flash,
Superman, the Martian Manhunter and Batman. Aquaman would later join the
"Big Seven" starting a brand new era in the JLA tradition. |
