Max reappears, begins operating clandestinely as Quicksilver.

1938

Max and Johnny Quick battle Savitar, causing both Max and Savitar to leap forward in time.

Barry-Flash frees Jay-Flash and Keystone City from suspended animation.

Jay-Flash retires, officially passes the Flash mantle to Barry.

Barry marries Wally West's aunt Iris.

Barry-Flash meets the time-traveling Reverse Flash, Professor Zoom.

Iris Allen learns that she is actually Iris Russell, a time-refugee from the early 30th century.

Professor Zoom kills Iris.

Max reappears, forgoes adopting a heroic identity, instead prepares for Savitar's eventual return.

Flash, forced to kill Professor Zoom to save another life, is tried for manslaughter and is acquitted.

Barry Allen learns Iris is alive in the year 2957, travels there to be with her once again. One month later, plucked from a future of happiness, Barry dies during the Crisis saving the universe from the reality-destroying Anti- Monitor.

Wally's powers are transmogrified and severely diminished in final battle with the Anti-Monitor. Wally's top speed is now about three times that of sound.

In memory of his mentor Barry, Wally West nevertheless adopts the Flash identity.

Wally moves to Keystone City, once more establishing a Flash presence there.

Gradually, Wally's powers begin to increase.

Wally meets Linda Park, forging a love that would save his life time and again.

Wally regains top velocity in a battle against the time- jaunting Reverse Flash.

Impulse appears in the 20th century, is tutored by Wally and later by Max.

Wally becomes the first speedster ever to enter the Speed Force and return.

Now
Because of his contact with the Speed Force, Wally begins to manifest new powers far more advanced than those of any previous Flash.

Wally adopts a new, frictionless costume made directly from Speed Force energy.

1 year from now
Wally chooses to sacrifice his life to save all reality past, present and future.

20th-30th centuries
The Flash dynasty continues for the next thousand years. Thus far, these are the known Flashes:

25th century
Eobard Thawne becomes Professor Zoom, the Reverse-Flash.

27th century
Particle physicist John Fox becomes the Flash of his era.

28th century
Blaine Allen becomes the Flash of his time. Following his death, his son Jace takes up the mantle.

2927
Infant Iris Russell is sent to the 20th century by her parents to spare her from almost certain nuclear war. She is found and adopted by the West family.

2957
Immediately following his manslaughter trial, Barry is transported to this year by Iris's parents, who--using 30th century science--plucked Iris's life-essence from her in the moment of death and transplanted it into a new, living body. Barry is thus reunited with his beloved wife. They conceive twins, though Barry does not live to learn this, as he leaves only one month later to do battle in the Crisis.

2958
Barry and Iris's twins, Don and Dawn, are born. Both have their father's speed powers.

2978
Dawn Allen gives birth to Jenni Ognats (XS of the LSH).

2980
Don Allen's wife, Meloni Thawne, gives birth to Bart Allen (Impulse).

Don and Dawn Allen, operating as the Tornado Twins, are killed by Dominator agents under the guidance of Meloni's father, sworn enemy of the Allen clan.

2982
Iris Allen kidnaps the rapidly accelerating Bart, takes him to the 20th century where Wally can help temper Bart's powers.
