As
son of Darkseid, Orion has inherited his father's great strength and ferocity.
Once Orion had engaged himself in combat, he will not cease until the battle has
ended or his foe has fallen. In addition, Orion's Astro-Glider permits him
flight through space or atmosphere, in addition to focusing formidable energy
blasts. |

Background:
|
| The petty concerns
of frivolous mortals are less than worthless of Orion. True, Highfather himself
assigned Orion to protect Earth. But has not the Dog of War wasted enough time
repeatedly saving this overrated mudball whilst the legion of Darkseid swarm and
multiply and prepare to lay their foul claws on the very fabric of the universal
hyper-reality itself? Now he must suffer the irksome company of these meagerly
empowered "JLA" monads even while Darkseid defies all the Greater
Powers of Time and Space. But, though he is the son of treacherous Darkseid,
Orion remains true to his duty as Earth's new defender. Hour by hour, his Mother
Box computer works to suppress Orion's lust for battle for which he was born to
lead, and to fight.
Notes:
-
Exchanged with the son of Highfather to cement peace between New Genesis
and Apokolips, Orion was schooled in the benevolent ideals of his adoptive
home. As an adult, Orion would become his true father's greatest foe.
