Background:

After volunteering for a test to artificially duplicate the powers of the hidden Ice People, Sigrid Nansen soon found her self as a member of the JLA. She takes on the place of Tora, after her death at the hands of the Overmaster. Once in the league, she finds herself coming onto Fire, who takes advantage of her resemblance to Tora and their time at the Global Guardians. Sigrid convinces Fire to get over Tora's death, although she knows she can never replace the League's love for Ice. However, Bea and Tora's relationship had always been just a strong friendship, a sisterhood, and Nansen soon dropped out this idea. Probably the first bisexual member of the JLA, she got herself involved with Olivia Reynolds. Sigrid's term as a leaguer ended when the JLA satellite was attacked by the Hyperclan.
