Powers
and Abilities: |
Walter West has a direct-line to the Speed Force just
like Wally West, however he studied under the villain Savitar and is far
more skilled in the advanced use of his powers. He can steal speed
causing bullets to just stop in their tracks and fall to the ground, he
can hypermetabolise wounds instantly healing from injury and he has
complete control over his molecules. By holding the door of the Speed
Force open he can unleash a huge amount of power and use it to jump into
Hypertime, theoretically a Flash should be able to navigate by altering
his natural vibrations, but no known Flash has yet mastered this method. |

| Background: |
Shortly after the third Flash disappeared on a
time travel mission, a new Flash appeared in Keystone City. Collecting his
predecessors' personal effects, he began an investigation... into what, he
has not yet revealed. He kept his identity a secret, revealing it only to
original Flash Jay Garrick, so that
he could operate in Central City, to
Superman and Troia, so that he
could work with the Justice League and the Titans.
Older than Wally, faster than the others, able to vibrate through objects
and to steal speed, and uninterested in "playing games" with villains, he
divides his time between his secret investigations and his public
crimefighting. He has also become romantically linked to Central City
police scientist Angela Margolin.
He later revealed himself to his fellow speedsters as an older Wally, but
he declined to inform them that he actually hails from an alternate
timeline. In his timeline, his girlfriend Linda Park died in the battle
with Kobra. Driven by his grief to a rage against injustice, he studied
speed secrets from Savitar (before killing him) and began a crusade to not
just capture, but eliminate villains, making him a fugitive. Only in an
encounter with the Wally and Linda from our own timeline, during which the
two Wallys merged to battle Abra Kadabra, did he lose his rage.
Tragically, Kadabra apparently killed the couple shortly afterward,
leaving Walter "Wally" West to travel, disguised and artificially aged 10
years, to our own timeline to take the place of the hero who saved him...
and make Kadabra pay. |
