Powers and Abilities: |
Atom Smasher has extraordinary strength, speed, and
agility. He inherited these powers from his Grandfather (Cyclotron), which
were later enhanced by exposure to thorium radiation. Because of this
exposure he also developed the power to alter his molecular structure at
will to increase his height to 15' tall, with an increase in mass, or can
decrease body density enough to enable him to pass through solid matter. |
Weaknesses/Limitations: |
Although Atom Smasher has extraordinary strength, speed and
agility, he can be beaten or even killed by beings who wield more power then
himself.
Atom Smasher has limited control over his molecular structure. He can change
his body size and density at will. Atom Smasher is
only mortal. |
| Background: |
|
Albert Rothstein inherited his powers from his Grandfather
(Cyclotron) and took the name Nuklon. With the sons and daughters of the
Justice Society of America (who also inherited powers), they decided to
petition the Justice Society for membership. Their membership was denied
but together, they formed the super-hero group called Infinity Inc. In
recent years, Infinity Inc. was disbanded and Nuklon joined the last
incarnation of the Justice League of America which soon fell apart.
Recently, Nuklon took on the guise of Atom Smasher in honor of his
God-father and joined the new JSA.
