| Marc Antaeus was
a self-styled "Superman", who selflessly risked his life to help
those in danger, often becoming injured himself in the process. Even
though he had been genetically enhanced by his father's research, Marc was
always pushing himself to become better, which always seemed to be enough
to get the job done until one fateful fire when he was unable to save a
family of our. Marc disappeared for over two years, but suddenly
reappeared a vastly different person. Where Marc had merely seemed a large
person before, now he was enormous, armored, and vastly more powerful than
in the past. Marc was left unstable following the series
of enhancements and began judging those he was supposed to be helping,
launching a plan to set off a nuclear device in the Middle Eastern country
of ???, but barely was stopped by The JLA, and Antaeus died during the
battle.
