Powers and Abilities: |
Just
as his grandfather and father before him, Amazing Man possessed the
ability to absorb the physical attributes of whatever matter or energy he
touched. Thus if he touched steel, his body would turn to steel as well.
It is unknown what degree of control Amazing Man had over his abilities,
but he has been observed taking on the attributes of more than one
substance at a time, painfully.

| Following in his
grandfather's footsteps, Will became a super-hero reluctantly. Will's
father chose to ignore his inherited abilities and was killed in the
Vietnam War. Although never officially a member of Extreme Justice,
Amazing Man participated in numerous cases before being killed by The Mist
in Starman #38 (January, 1998). Amazing Man is one of four known
male superheroes believed to have been considered by Maxima to worthy to
become her consort, the others being Superman, Captain Atom & Steel
